????At the beginning of the 80s, there were many, too many, bands that sought to extend the musical horizons of Metal to more extreme, wild and corrosive aspects.
The San Francisco Bay Area became the meeting epicenter for all those beardless musicians who loved the NWOBHM movement and wanted more of it, but with even more savagery; and thus what we know today as Thrash Metal was born.
In 1982, our protagonists took their first steps on the scene with a collaboration on the Metal Blade Records compilation, Metal Massacre II - which included top groups such as Warlord, Overkill and Armored Saint -, with their song Such a Shame.

This continued until the publication of a demo in that same year a demo that included the compilation theme but, strangely, had no place in the versión original of the work.
After a change in the lineup, the band continued until 1984 when they published the debut we have in hand, Scratch and Scream.
Trauma went to the Bay Area war with very clear ideas: to be the most loud, wild and powerful as possible.

Trauma is the band that the late Cliff Burton played in before joining Metallica. I knew he had heard his name before!
The aforementioned Burton was a founding member of the band and was in it for three years before he signed with the group of Ulrich, Hetfield and Mustaine.
The famous bassist only appeared on the band's first demo and on the song on the Metal Blade compilation.
