The Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ was the motivating hope of the early Christians - it is the greatest hope of all true Christians. Paul's letter to the Thessalonians is filled with this hope. The Old Testament Feast of Trumpets combined with the teachings of Christ and the Apostles gives us incredibly clear and motivating truths about the prophetic fulfillment in the birth, life, sacrifice and resurrection of The Son of God, Jesus Christ, and His Promised Coming with wrath and justice.

We learn that Christians are to Trumpet the truth of the magnificent Saviour. We see how Paul's themes in Thessalonians are reflected in the Bible, from the Old Testament all the way through to the Risen Christ's words in the Book of Revelation and how works, faith, love, patience and hope all work together in the life of the Christian.
