This is recorded with a hand-beaten Kosmosky Om Tongue Drum with a 10 notes B Astral scale. It has two sides (the other side has a Shiraz scale), tongues on both sides start vibrating in unison, which gives it an incredible sustain as you can hear in the video. It makes it very suitable to play slow melodies like this one. I absolutely love this instrument which is also a real work of art with the beautiful engraving and finish! Thanks Kosmosky!
Recorded using two Oktava MK 012 MSO2 condenser microphones.
Mixed with Free Software: Linux, Audacity, Kdenlive, Synfig Studio, and a custom program to detect notes and generate a video with waves from the audio.
While listening to the music, you can admire the beautiful design of this tongue drum, the moon and the drops.
