I started violin lessons in late-May when my Twitch community hit the $27k charity milestone for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It's now been SIX WHOLE MONTHS since I started this journey, so I thought it was time for a little update!
Things I know I need to focus on:
- I'm still tense as flip.
- Now that I'm using more of my bow, I need to be better about using my wrist. You can see the bow is slightly crooked as I get closer to the frog. I'm aware of it, but I am doing slow bowing on scales to get my wrist issues worked out.
- Intonation, intonation, intonation!!! Always working on this.
