Violin Starter Skills: Introduction

The goal of the video is to give a map of what the first lessons look like, where we want to end up, and why we want to be very patient in the first few weeks before we start playing melodies. The "milestone" for this phase is reached when the student can play a beautiful version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (or some comparable tune) that combines the basics of sound production and finger placement. Then, they are off to the races with Suzuki Book 1.
