July 2014 is getting more and more intense for the Russian label Intricate Cuts with all those newest releases scheduled, including the extended play by Vndy Vndy with three tracks, "All Day", "All Night" and "Vacancy". Behind that hard-to-pronounce alias Vndy Vndy is Andrey Popov from the city of Yekaterinburg. To date his works have yet seen the light of day only on small labels like Yellow Light Music and Brisk Records. Finally, this producer from Ural region gets his residential registration at one of Russia's most rapidly developing imprints, Intricate Cuts. Every track from the extended play by Vndy Vndy has an own "face", there is summer mood and freshness in the air. It is not a mistake to say that "All Day" sounds like influenced by Eric Prydz himself while "Vacancy" has a brisk and kicky rhythm (as if you were listening to something made by Fatboy Slim) and cheerful vocal samples, it's a 5 minutes journey into the easy-going era of illegal rave parties. The story behind "All Night" is far more dramatic. This track not only made it into the tracklist of "Intricate Records Is Going To Ibiza 2014" compilation, but also gained attention of Judge Jules himself and was played in his radio show Global Warmup prior to release date, at the moment it looks like "All Night" is the strongest one on the forthcoming extended play.
