Welcome to Week 3 of Tomorrows Quintet, my multi-instrument practice journal. This week we're stepping away from (some) of the method books and figuring out what fun looks like on these instruments. I'm digging into an iconic bass line, exploring shell voicings on guitar, learning how altered dominants work on saxophone and composing on piano. Even though the focus was on fun this week, I'm also exploring some takeaways I'd like to continue to implement in my practice journey.
