What if this were EASY? Rethinking Beginner Piano Lessons – VMTC

Hello beautiful music teachers! You know that little voice when trying something new? It sounds like, "this is too difficult, why did I think I could do this?" Our young beginner students probably don't have that little voice yet but they still might find things tricky. If they're older, the voice might be there in full force.

To overcome this, we need to guide our students to take the tiniest of baby steps in the beginning to feel confident enough to take bigger steps in the future. Let's maximise student confidence by rethinking beginner piano lessons.
