Here's the next episode of Brewster's Millions Of Rants with What Was I Thinking? This episode focuses on answering some questions that I've noticed popping up in the comment section, along with some general "clear the air" discussion as far as the overall approach of this channel and some plans for the future.

It's not all talk and no play (even though this is a "rant" video), as we're also taking a familiar fill from a famous song and twisting/mutating the phrase into a handful of new and interesting variations and ideas. This area of this episode is related to demonstrating the overall approach you should use as a musician. Learn as much music as you can, but aside from learning the music as written/performed - you should also learn how to borrow from the music you've selected to create your own ideas.

Borrow ideas, concepts, fretboard movements, techniques, tones, and anything else you can absorb from other musicians, while also making it your own. Finding yourself as a musician and attempting to tap into yourself through music is one of the most difficult areas for many people to tackle with the guitar, but it's also one of the most rewarding and interesting things you can do with that plank of wood sitting on your lap.

If you're looking for some answers to a few of your questions or maybe a few ideas/approaches to being more creative with the music that you learn - this episode is for you!
