I know a lot of fast passages have “staccato” dots on them, but they’re actually just articulation dots, and articulation is not necessarily staccato. I know I know, from the beginning we were all taught to do staccato on notes with those dots on them, but that’s just because learning to play on the string first is very important. In any case, when practicing a fast sautillé passage slowly, I’d suggest not doing staccato, because when you play it fast, you won’t be stopping the bow in between notes.
