When thinking of what kind of song would be suitable for Brant, I immediately thought there was no other genre more fitting than a metal shanty. I wanted to show the side of his character that has a deep care for the troupe and the friendships he values. although the music is short, I feel like it covers a lot of what vibes I wanted it to express!

The song draws inspiration from symphonic metal and power metal, but is written to be in the style of a traditional shanty, made for the captain and crew of a ship to sing together while working. The music has over 100 layers of recorded instruments: real violins, electric guitars, drums, and lots of vocal harmonies. it was exciting to put it all together.
