This is an adaptation of "You've Got a Friend in Me" so that the guitar covers the part played by the band in the original. I've found that it usually sounds best if you don a little Woody cowboy hat and sing along with your finest Randy Newman impersonation. If it still doesn't sound quite right, my experience has shown that wearing cowboy boots helps with "Andy" sharpied on the bottom helps, too.
