Yximalloo was a forgotten project that was run by Naofumi Ishimaru (its name is normally spelled Ishimarū in the Latin letters, but Ishimaru prefferd Yximalloo to Ishimarū). He began to write and play music in 1981.
Yximalloo had made more than 40 albums for 10 years until 1995. Additionally, its album had released on Rough Trade USA (in 1983) and on Rec Rec (in 1990). In 1987, Ishimaru starded communicate with Jad Fair and perfomred overseas in '87, '88 and '90.
This album was made up of selected songs from Yximalloo's 1982 works and it came out around January 1995.
