“If you can’t do this, it’s not ready to be played” ????We recommend that you use a gentle but firm “push and twist” motion to lock your mouthpiece in place in the receiver. Why?

When the mouthpiece connects perfectly in the receiver, it creates a mechanical lock that is more efficient at transmitting vibrations through the instrument.In other words, you get more sound for your effort.

While it’s not a very large difference, it’s a small habit that’s worth doing every time you insert your mouthpiece into the receiver.
