At the beginning of practice, it’s normal to play out of tune a little. This is how I practice my scales:

????I set the metronome to 60 BPM. (It’s important to practice at a comfortable tempo.)

????I start with playing one note 4 times, once per beat. I check every note and only move to the next one if all of them are in tune.

????When I can play all of the scale in tune, I start again but play each note 3 times. Repeat the same process.

????Then I play each note twice. Then once.

????If I mess up, I play the previous note and try again. Until I get all of it right.

????This usually takes around 30 minutes per day. Efficient and practical.
