Progress on Fiorillo Etude no. 3. Focus on speeding up ????. This etude is supposed to be played Allegro (120-156 BPM ????). I’m slowly speeding up and getting used to playing staccato as fast as I can, as comfortably as possible. I don’t want tension in my arms and keep the natural bow hold. Today I could go up to 112 BPM, it was the sweet spot where I could play but there was still room for improvement.
