Now lets put this rather angular 'lick' into context.
Play something simple on the 2 Chord ( Dmin7) then into the pattern/scale ( G13b9) Then resolve it to C major7. 2 5 1 and Repeat.

If you are getting good? then start improvising with the Dmin7 chord as well.
