While Phil Collins was producing Anni-Frid Lyngstad's 1983 solo album Something's Going On, he was also playing drums on the Adam Ant song "Strip" for the album of the same name.
When Ant needed a female vocalist, he asked Phil, who in turn asked Frida. She had to record the part in secret so that her manager Stig Anderson would not find out and demand payment. According to Ant, Frida came into the recording booth with curlers in her hair.
