1. "Fernando" was originally written by Benny and Björn for Frida's Swedish language solo album Frida Ensam. The original version of the song contains only Frida's voice and was a smash hit in Sweden. The group decided to re-record it as an ABBA song. The English version of "Fernando" features harmony from Agnetha Fältskog and is technically a cover.

2. To date, Frida has had three songs written about her. "La Voix De Frida" is a French song written by Philipe Elan and released on his album Toujours in 2000. "The Sun Will Shine Again" was written by Jon Lord (Deep Purple) and released in 2004 on his Beyond the Notes album. "Anni-Frid" was written by the Danish group Kandis and released in 2021 on their album Kandis 21.

The radio play "Like An Angel" was written and performed by Christopher Green in 2011. It was a semi-memoir about his life that revolved, partially, around his love of ABBA and Frida in particular. Green interviewed Frida as part of this show, where she opened up about the loss of her husband Ruzzo.

3. Frida was introduced to Adam Ant by Phil Collins, who produces her Something's Going On album. She recorded the female spoken word portion of Ant's song "Strip" in secret, so that her manager Stig Anderson would not insist on her being paid for it.

4. Frida's mother passed away when she was an infant. She was raised by her grandmother and told that her father, a German soldier, had died during the war. When an account of her life was published in the German magazine Bravo, Frida's half-brother recognized the story and was able to connect her with her still-living father, Alfred Haase. She was thirty-two when she met him.

5. Frida was born in Ballagen, Norway in 1945. The product of a Norwegian mother and a German father, she was not welcome in her home country. Her mother Synni sent her to Sweden in the custody of her grandmother before her untimely death. Frida was raised in Sweden and became a citizen later in life.
