Rockabilly sensation Gene Vincent and His Blue Caps (Vincent was a Navy Veteran and "Blue Caps" refers to sailors enlisted in the United States Navy), perform "Be Bop a Lula" Capitol Records 45rpm released 1957.
Vincent Eugene Craddock (Gene Vincent) b. February 11th 1935 Munden Point North Carolina.
"Be Bop a Lula" becomes a hit and sells 100 thousand copies in the first month.
