He explains that a lot of artists are being "lost in the mainstream," and Boaz says indie labels give you more freedom to be yourself.
During the conversation Boaz also speaks about how he signed to Rostrum after having a great conversation with CEO Benjy Grinberg. The Pittsburgh native also adds that with all the talent coming out of the city, he believes the location could be the next Atlanta.
