Only "the real ones" know this authentic Brazilian rhythmic figure. It's a 2 bar comping pattern played on: 2, 4, 2, &of3, &of4.

Note how my left hand, Luther Hughes (bass) and Dom Moio (drums) all catch this rhythm together in a beautiful moment of rhythmic telepathy during the piano solo of "Desafinado".
