Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Chordplay with the 200th Episode Special. I honestly can't believe it's been three years since the Late Night Lessons channel started and I've hit the 200th episode of Chordplay - which is exactly what this episode celebrates!

This episode reveals the origin of the original Chordplay lesson, which I wrote way back in 2004 as a lesson I used with private lesson students at the time. The lesson was popular and grew into some other ideas, but by the time I started putting the LNL channel together three years ago, I knew I wanted to turn the overall idea of that lesson into a series of lessons on my channel, and here we are.

The ideas shared in this lesson range from including the basic concept presented in the original Chordplay lesson from 2004, along with several other ideas/approaches helping you build an interesting array of new chords, progressions, and tonalities. These examples range from moveable chords shapes that are shifted around the fretboard to actual song-based examples featuring familiar music from artists such as Rush, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, and Yes (to name a few).

Needless to say, if you're searching for some new chord-based ideas to create a plethora of new sounds/voicings to explore on the guitar, not to mention hitting a number of interesting/inspiring ideas pulled from famous songs that are directly related to this material - this lesson is totally for you!
Give this episode a view, leave some comments/feedback, and please subscribe to Late Night Lessons - THANK YOU!
