Imagine that sound being played by an imaginary band of white hep cats recording for a small independent Southern label – that's the vibe we're going for here.

"Cold Heart She-Devil" is piano-driven and deliberately rendered in a more "amateurish" way to give it that raw, authentic feel. The song tells a story of heartbreak and betrayal, infused with the gritty, soulful essence of rockabilly blues. It's a tale of a man deceived by a cunning woman, who ultimately finds the strength to move on.

Recording this track was a athrilling experience. The combination of the rockabilly beat, bluesy (short) guitar solo, and soulful vocals creates a sound that's both nostalgic and fresh. I wanted to capture the atmosphere of a smoky, dimly lit club, where the music wraps around you and takes you on a journey. The deliberately rough-around-the-edges production adds to the charm, making it feel like a hidden gem from a bygone era.
