Comparing Yourself To Others? We need to listen, study and observe other musicians but when does this become self defeating? Where's the line between emulating, imitating and inventing? How do our personal hang ups, progress or lack of progress influence or impede us in improving on our instrument? I try to tackle some of this from my Super Hotel on the road with Mark Hummel's Blues Harmonica Blowout somewhere in Northern California ????. I'm using an "A" Hohner Crossover by Joel Andersson with some Blue Moon Modifications in the key of "E" Mostly.
