You got to Get Ugly With It! That's what the great Rick Estrin said at the beginning of the harmonica documentary "Pocket Full Of Soul". Here we explore some of the ways to add a little emotive dirt and grit your musical harmonica expression. I'm using a "G" Hohner Blue Moon Signature Jason Ricci Harmonica by Tom Halchak in the Key of D Major here but you can use these techniques in a variety of positions. check the related videos below.
