John McEuen, Grammy award winning Artist & founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, joined Eric Dahl on the Rock & Review to discuss his new album “The Newsman”! McEuen weaves a tapestry of poetry, music, spoken words and songs in his latest album. John spent 50 years playing and composing songs with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band including their landmark album "Will the Circle Be Unbroken." He is also a published author with a book of the same title and his memoir "The Life I've Picked." McEuen also appeared in Ken Burns documentary "Country Music" for three episodes.
