Oliver Wood, Billboard charting Americana artist & member of The Wood Brothers, joined Eric Dahl on the Rock & Review with his new solo album “Fat Cat Silhouette”. The new project was recorded at The Studio Nashville with Brook Sutton. Other collaborations included Katie Pruitt, Seth Walker, Steve Berlin (Los Lobos), and Marcus Henderson (Marshall Tucker). Wood cut his musical teeth in Atlanta with the Tinsley Ellis band and played for a time in MMW before creating the Wood Brothers Band with his brother Chris once they were both in Nashville, TN. Oliver created numerous provocative soundscapes on this new album utilizing Open C tuning and a rubber bridge parlor acoustic guitar. Plus the Gibson L00 that Derick Trucks gifted him.
