Joshua Thrush attends James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia and has studied the double bass for seven years under the instruction of Ira Gold of the National Symphony. Joshua is a 2023 and 2024 YoungArts Merit Winner and a fourth-year Youth Fellow with the National Symphony Orchestra.
