The reason that legs don’t grow is because they are in constant use. Let me explain.
.
Your legs are constantly being challenged and attacked by your movement throughout the day. What this means is that your legs are used to working, and they’re used to working hard.
.
Legs need surprisingly more volume and training that most trainers understand. Which is why two things often happen.
1. You fail to tone up and change how your legs look.
2. You fail to gain the strength that you feel you should be gaining with the amount of training that you’re doing.
.
Legs need a few critical components to actually grow.
.
1. Squats
2. Deadlifts
3. Squats PAST parallel
4. Explosive movements (you’ve got a ton of type two fibers in your legs after all)
5. Flexibility
6. Multiple training sessions
7. Burnouts
.
Here’s the bottom line, you guys all want my diet, you want to get lean, that’s all great, and the platform that I use rests on MASSIVE energy expenditure.

Squats will not make you bulky, they’ll make you bad ass and for.
.
This routine is something that I use at the end of 3 workouts per week. Because having big legs that function like an athlete counts.

In order for your legs to grow, and change shape (for you ladies), you need to work them to failure, and the only way that can happen is with pain free movements.
.
This entire routine is built around pre exhausting your legs for each subsequent movement.
.
This routine will develop two things:
1. Pain free knees
2. Amazing legs
.
Let’s go.

Movement 1
- 10 Kettle bell swings
Movement 2
- 10 kettle bell jump squats
Movement 3
- 10 Weighted Long Stride Lunges (each leg)
Movement 4
- Max effort wall sit
Movement 5
- Max effort jump squats
.
Run through this routine 2 times at the end of three of your workouts every week and you’ll be blown away at the changes you have in your legs!

And no knee pain!

This will make your legs lean, this will chisel
out big legs, and no this won’t make you ‘bulky’
