The South Philly native recalls how during the first season of the show, she had a hard time finding an apartment in New York because after landlords learned of her identity, they wanted nothing to do with her. "It's like, what the hell, it's a job," she added. "There's like a law in New York that says you can't hold somebody accountable for their legal, paying job."
The reception she received in her hometown of Philly, however, was much more positive. "Philly love is great, it's awesome. I have people that see me and they're like 'Oh my god I love you,'" she explained.
