In this clip you will hear what is probably the 3rd iteration of our song "Love Riot".
We wrote and played a few versions before we settled on what you hear on our 2011 sophomore album "Love Riot". This is also one of the few live clips where you can hear my screaming vocals! Shortly after this, life hit me with a sledgehammer and I thought my dreams were dead for good.
I would go on to play this festival on that same stage 2 yrs later with a new band, God is good.
So, what would I say to this lil guy if I could go back?
KEEP GOING. Keep writing, keep pushing the envelope, keep being you. When you are criticized for your art, for what you look like, for not being what you're supposed to be, take those words, sew them on your jean jacket and wear it proudly, it looks good on you.
