While I don't know much about "two-tone ska" and bands associated with any sort of "ska revival", this reminds me SO much of various Motown and R&B acts I grew up listening to. Bassist Horace Panter nimbly grooves underneath a wash of horn melodies, groovy guitars, and soulful vocal lines. I discuss how his bass tone disguises any technique changes, the melodic approach to his grooves, a breakdown of the song's lively arrangement, and much more!
